CBSE Examination Reforms: Returning to the Stone Age The history of modern education of India dated back to 1835, with Lord Macaulay being the golden calf.  His idea was to form a class of Indians who may be interpreters between British and the millions whom they ruled. He wanted a class of persons, Indian in blood and colour, but English in taste, in opinions, in morals, and in intellect. बचपन बचाओ क़ानून : ऑस्ट्रेलिया से सीखे भारत

  अपनी संसद में यह कानून पास कर ऑस्ट्रेलिया संसार का पहला देश बना जिसने बच्चों के लिए सोशल मीडिया के उपयोग पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया। यह निर्णय सम्पूर्ण जगत के लिए ऐतिहासिक है। ऑस्ट्रेलिया के राजनेताओं की दूर दृष्टिता सराहनीय है जिस ने बच्चों के बचपन को बचाने के लिए ऐसा अहम कदम उठाया। इस प्रतिबंध से ना सिर्फ़ बच्चों का बचपन बचा रहेगा अपितु समाज में होने वाले अपराध भी कम होंगे एवं ऑस्ट्रेलिया अपनी संस्कृति को भी सहेज पाएगा। इस कानून के मुताबिक  16  वर्ष से कम उम्र के बच्चे सोशल मीडिया ऐप्लिकेशन पर अपना अकाउंट नहीं बना पाएँगे। इस हिसाब से फ़ेस्बुक, इन्स्टग्रैम, एक्स (भूतपूर्व ट्विटर), टिक-टॉक, स्नैपचैट, रेडइट इत्यादि बच्चों की पहुँच से बाहर हो जाएँगी। विशेष बात यह है कि इस कानून में बच्चों को नहीं बल्कि सोशल मीडिया कंपनियों को कटघरे में खड़ा करने का प्रावधान है। इन सोशल मीडिया कंपनियों को अब यह सुनिश्चित करना पड़ेगा की कोई भी  16  वर्ष से कम उम्र का बालक इन वेब्सायट पर अपना अकाउंट नहीं बना सके। अगर यह कंपनियां सुचारू रूप से ऐसा करने में विफल होती हैं तो इनको  33 ...
