Don't Blame Me

Don’t Blame Me

Do you know why I at times hate you,
Maintain Silence, show indifference,
Say things indirectly, often to hurt you?

Because you gave me so much pleasure,
It fuelled my desire to seek you over and over,
Making me ever dependent on your love;

When I am in desperate need of you,
But you don’t make yourself available,
It starts charcoaling my body,
Snapping my fuse of sanity;

Then I lose my discretion,
Fail to empathise your indisposition,
My craze for you overpowers my reason,
And I end up being cruel to you!
